2002 Maxima Map light bulbs help and mysterious passenger ghost window
Hey all,
Posted a few times here before. The first question I have is does anybody know what the map light bulb is for a 2002 Nissan Maxima. When I say map light I mean the light bulbs by the rear view mirror. Mine seem to not be working and everywhere I look for this bulb no one knows the part number. One Nissan dealer wanted to charge me $5 a bulb then refused to give me the part number.
My second question I have is my passenger side window when rolled up from the passenger side will roll back down halfway. Any idea what part is required to fix that?
Thank you
Stephen

Regarding the bulb question, I believe the bulb size is a Ba9s, I personally use the polarg m26's, which is a white and is a little bit brighter than the stock halogen.
The window problem, while I've never personally had, many org members have and its an easy fix. I think you have to dissemble the window controls on your driver side and reset it. I think it's located in the stickies somewhere.

For the maplight, use the polargs, they are very bright.
The Window had the same problem, very easy fix.
In the door, where pull to close is a cap, take the cap off, and unscrew the screw thats in inside, then pry off thats whole panel, in my car its the "wood" area. Inside the door panel is a button, press the button and do AUTO down, then roll the window up WITHOUT auto up. The window shouold work. I did this a couple of times. I am pretty sure thats the process.

Still having issues with the window. I pulled the panel off, then the plastic piece with the buttons. It seems that everytime I roll it up it wants to roll back down for some reason. Inside the button part is a circuit board I tried to push the plastic piece down that the window button works with and still it doesnt work. Also when you say roll up without auto up what exactly do you mean? Thank You

Actually I think this is what it was referring to. There is a reset switch. I followed the instructions and still wont fix my issue. Its only happening to the passenger side and its only when I do auto up. For some reason I think this is functioning as designed. I heard somewhere its like a child safety feature. Its annoying as heck.
