Side View mirror repair: adhesive??

Hi,

Woke up this morning with my driver side view mirror hanging by the power cord. A hit and run since the force scuffed the part of the car directly infront of the mirror, not even stopping to leave a note. This guy will have bachi!

Anyhow, can anyone tell me what adhesive to get to secure the mirror back on?

Thanks

I'd suggest going to a junk yard and getting a replacement mirror.

Just my 02 cents.

Yeah, junkyard sounds like a good idea. I wouldn't try to glue it back on. You just be asking for trouble. Anyone could just bump into your mirror and it might fall off. So junkyard or buy a new one.

My driver side mirror's been glued on for the past 2 years...hasn't fallen off yet. I got replacements I bought off e-bay waiting.

Also a victim of hit & run.

Your local autobody supply store will be able to get the appropriate adhesive for you.

Thanks for the replies. The thing is, it sits fine without any adhesive now due to the way the plastic fits into the door, granted it is loose. I'll check my local napa or schucks.
