My 2k 5spd vs CL-S..
The truth will come out....
2 of my friends just bought new rides. One bought a WRX and the other a CL-S. We all agreed that when they break in their rides we're gonna have a run. I'm from Jersey and in mid-Sept we're all gonna have a nice long caravan ride to Atl, GA for the Nopi Nationals (just to check it out...) Trust me, I will post in complete truth all the detail of the results of our races. I can't wait for the day we race cuz I'm also real curious on which car will come out on top. Wish me luck guy's.

Sorry buddy but Nissan sales are higher than every import manufacture except Toyota. And also Maxima won first place in edmunds review. Obviously you can't read.

Hey Acura boy since your car is soooo fast with its 260hp/Automatic go run a Mustang with its 260hp/Automatic and see how you do. Oh wait, I forgot you guys beat everything you race and won't admit losing!!
You probably don't own a CL-S, and if you car is sooo quick show us you time slips!

Bottom line, if you were happy with your car and you thought it was more superior than the maxima, you would not be here. You are in Envy!

I'll put in my two cents worth re: this whole Acura/Maxima thing:
When looking for a new vehicle I too considered the Maxima, the Acura TL (both the regular version and the S-type), the BMW 528/530i and 328/330i, the Audi A-4, and the VW Passat. Dollar for dollar, I could NOT get a better deal than the Maxima. (I didn't even bother considering the S-Type with the nav system as it increases the cost by about $2k and I don't need it- I can read a stupid map just fine, thank-you!) The only Acura dealer in my area wasn't budging on the sticker price which was easily $2,500 more than the sticker price on an IDENTICALLY equipped Maxima SE. The dealer I ended up purchasing from was able to let my fully equipped SE leave his lot for only $26,500 - so I saved myself (and my kid's college funds) about $6,000 more than I would have if I had purchased the S-type (And I have more interior and truck space that if I had puchased the Honda product). Frankly, for the supposed meager difference in the acceleration times and other performance differences between the Max and the TL-S, it wasn't worth the six grand difference in the price.

All I want to do is prove once and for all which of these 3 cars is TOP DOG. I'm just gonna make sure that I don't come in last. I'm somewhat weary about racing the WRX friend becuz he's 22 now and a wild driver. Since the age of 18. his parents have bought him a Corrado, M3, IS300, and now the WRX. All cars prior to the WRX...he tottalled! I told him that when we do race he better not try antyhing funny or I'll personally whoop his a$$.

C'mon guys... don't be mad that you paid about $5000 more for a car that is almost identical in performance to the Maxima...
Don't hate because we Maxima owners have more purchasing-sense

I haven't had the pleasure of losing to a Type-S... raced one, we were tied. Even if I do lose to one, it will not be more then by 1-2 car lengths at the most in a 1/4 mile. So I will take my $5000 savings over the Type-S and put in HIDs, Nav system, and supercharger. Will this make my Max better then a Type-S?

i agree wit all of the cl-s owners and the maxima owners, no need to bicker over 14 and 15 second cars, our cars are fast. period. modded up, they both possess the potential to be wickedly fast.
oh, and to the guy who wrote sumthing about gpa's....mmm....my school weights the gpa scale, like many other schools, meaning i get a 4.5 for a AP class because im taking 6 ap courses, (or do u even know what "ap" means??!??)as for the spelling errors, im profusely sorry and i heartfully and sincerely apologize to all of the obsessive compulsive people who are annoyed that i misspell words on an internet forum....(doesn't say im dumb; says i can't type....!)
