Spark Plug replacement - 3rd set at 149K

Just put my third set (factory, 85K, 149K) today and followed the writeup in the how to. Great write-up....perfrect in every detail. Except 1. For those of us newbies that have some difficulty with the green electrical connectors, I took a pic to help out. Sorry for the size.

Press the green tab in the direction that the arrow it is pointing the vertical red arrow pointing down. The device is spring loaded, so as you press the tab down (i use a phillips head), the tab will recess toward the electrical connection. Pull the grey/black housing that is exposed by the recessing green tab (the other red arrows indicated the housing), in the opposite direction with a pair of pliers. The unit should pop apart.

Below are the pics of the plugs that I pulled out at 149K. Replaced with factory OEM plugs bought at the Nissan Service desk (13 bucks each...DOH!)

Psyched....looks pretty normal. As expected. Thanks for the writeup that was posted in the How To section.

Plats are too expensive for my blood. I got all 6 of my NGK coppers for $9.00. Glad the install went smoothly for you.

I agree about the 100K, but for some reason, I got a bug up my a$$ lately. I think I just wanted a reason to buy a torque wrench. Some people stated that they would never wait till the 100K, but both times I did the job, the plugs came out looking pretty good (knock on wood). Next project.....hood and front bumber painting.
