they would probably just repair (not replace) the door and repaint that section blending the paint...

The accident just happened today.I reported it to both insurance companies so im waiting to see if his pays up.Ive adjusters coming tomorrow to write up estimates.
I work at a bodyshop so Im probably just going to redo the whole paint job after the insurance decides what theyre going to do.

Thanks fellas,Misiek I found the wheels at my350z.com classifieds.I dont think the site lets you browse without signing up but its worth the five minutes it takes.Got a good deal on them to.Had to drive to Virginia beach to pick them up though.
I was thinking the same thing chopstix,Ive done a sunlit sand quarter blending in to the rear door.It looked good after I mixed all the formulas available to find the best match but if you took it out into the sun at an odd angle you could tell it had been painted. My lip came out good, its them big panels that suck.
Ill probably just change the color anyway.

Hey buddy, i had the exact same damage on my car, just a lot more...sister went nuts on the car, anys i am located in canada, toronto to be exact.
Many place gave me a quote of 2500-3000+, after lots of research i found this guy did it for 1400$. He didn't replace the door skin or the door, other people quoted me that they would replace the door skin. Oh my damage was on both front and back door and the fender.
Well the guy was pretty honest and told me that there was no need to replace the skin, it could be fixed. And he did a really great job. The door is very slightly mismatched, but only noticable if u look in light and cause u know it was damaged, otherwise u cant.
Anyways just so if ur in GTA, i can post the guys name and contact info and u can go there. I dont have before pics of my car but could post the after.
I have the same beige colour. GLE 00' maxima
