2k HU VS. 2k1 HU

2k HU VS. 2k1 HU
Some one told me that the BOSE headunit from 2000 max is slightly different from the BOSE headunit on 2001 Max. Can anyone verify this? What is the difference between the two? Also, can the hu from a 2k max fit the 5.5 gens?
