Someones Gonna Get Messed Up! Radar Detector Stolen!

Hey I'm so angry and I have to share my thoughts with my .org friends. So tomorrow night I'm going to Maine well my friend there needed a new tranny for his Bronco so I went to the junk yark with *lots of rags/plastic/etc* so i wouldn't get my trunk all dirty. Well I left my car running with the windows and sunroof open wide and music playing. Well I left for 2 seconds to get it packed into a box, I come back and my almost new BEL 980 is missing and only the power cord remains. Stupid *** ***** stole my radar not the car with keys in ignition but a god damn radar, well I'm happy my cars here and in one piece but thats $250.00 down the drain. I can't report to my insurance cause I'm 16 and it would go up, hell the deductable on my home and auto is at least 500.00 so thats out of the question.
Well now I need a new radar detector. I liked the Bel 980 but I'm debating if I should get another Bel or choose the Passport 8500, PS I dont like the Valentine. Well if anyone also knows where I can get the Bel cheap please lemme know. Oh yah whoever stole my detector is gettin' beat so I'm watchin out if I see someoen selling a used one on EBAY, thanks guys!

That blows!!! Why do people have to be thieving ****** all of the time. Like they have a car to put it in. It's probably some dude riding a Huffy bike, with it mounted on the handlebars, that punka$$ biatch! Sorry to hear the bad news.

They are both very close though. I've had both at the same time. If my Passport got stolen, I would probably buy a Bel 980.

That sucks man, i had my old car broken into two weeks ago right in front of my house while i was asleep. Lost my bel 870 radar detector and $1100 worth of CD's. They broke some stuff too, but nothing bad. I was flaming. I feel for ya.
