clunking noise when i make turns

it has been really cold in toronto, and i have been hearing clunking noise from the underbody when i make turns.

it does not happen all the times, but only happens when i make turns. has anyone has the same problem ?

i am quite sure it is not the brake, not sure if it were the rubber seat, cv, or strut...

any inputs would be appreciated.

cheers

Maybe the CV Joint?

If it sounds like knocking, could be the CV Joints. If it just clunks.. than I don't know. The CV Joint will make a "clunk clunk clunk clunk" sound (volume depends on how bad the damage is) when you turn, but mostly quite when you drive straight.

like he said most likely upper strut mounts and bearings, provided everything in your suspension is tight. You will need a spring compressor though

answer...

took it to the stealer... the said both caps on the front struts/suspension or whatever were missing, those caps could have worn out and dropped off somewhere. each CA$15, will have them replaced.
