This looks like a steal of a deal. How much power gains do you see. I couldnt read the dyno test they had posted. If anyone has any information on the gains that would be great. Also are these direct bolt ons with no additional part buying?

Thanks guys.

We'll I just checked all the posts out...it was mostly an auto with an intake with minimal gain 9+whp?

Is a manual more like 16 whp?

I am just looking for real numbers someone to go like this

example:

Hotshots header dyno 2003 maxima - 16 whp gain
- 10 torque gain

Or to post their gains of their dyno on this post. I think it may of took you more time sooners to look up those posts then to actually say or give realistic numbers.

Besides most of the posts went on about SAF-II and other equivilent things

Thanks for anyone else's input.

What do you mean by "another" hot shots header?

Meaning you went through the one you pruchased or meaning that you need to buy additional hot shots part for the headers to have their full potential in gain.

One thing that strikes me a little strange is on the installation instructions....

"4) Remove power steering bracket for removal of manifold, and dont re-install it or it will rattle on the headers. "

Is it ok to just leave a power steering bracket off?

the company is going out of business so they stopped paying the money to have a phone and the capability to process credit cards. nothing sketchy about that.
they have been a reputable company for a long time and that hasnt changed. they are simply going out of business.

Guys, how long have you been in the Nissan community? You have no idea who John Spangler is? He is a stand up individual who did nothing but pioneer aftermarket products for Nissans. Hot Shot was the front runner for several aftermarket perfromance parts before other companies either stole the designs or used the designs as the a starting point for their products.

He has worked with Mike Kojima for several years in the development and testing of products for us so that we could get the most out of our cars.

He is retiring. He's clearing out his inventory. That's it.

So, if you want a hell of a deal on a header, buy buy buy. If I didnt have to sink $400 into my susepnsion right now, I'd be all over these headers.

i dont understand
the majority of the posts are people asking about the company...all question that could just be answered by e-mailing the guy that has the answers...the owner.
"does he have any left?"
"how many are left?"
"how quickly does he reply?"
dont ask us questions...just email him and find out for yourself.

If you're asking those kinds of questions, you better budget on paying to get it installed, too.

For those that want this to fit on their 00 cali, you must ask Hotshot for the EGR bung (it's a specific size but they know) and the o2 sensor bung. They sent these with my headers for free. Maybe send them a note, since they are hard to reach. This will make the modification A LOT easier!!!

No lists, nothing like that.
Just e-mail him through his website if you're interested in purchasing your own set.
He doesn't need to come on here and make a post or anything like that.... THere is enough demand for him to sell them off just fine.
First come first serve...
It's as simple as going to hotshot.com and e-mailing him, asking if he has any more sets left, then say I want one, then send him payment.

I would like to make a list and be the first on it from this post on, Monday 4 2007

I don't see the point of this thread anymore. Fishpony did us a favor by giving us the heads up, and we appreciate it, so that's that. No need for any more "I emailed Hotshot but haven't heard back, what about you guys...". You guys can PM each other if necessary or start a vendor feedback thread if you have an opinion on your dealings with them. Let me know if you have any questions.
