I am pissed that I don't check this forum more often to hear about this. I would have jumped on a set one like flies on **** even though I don't own a VQ35 yet.

I'm getting worried also. I ended up getting an e-mail back from him on the 7th also saying he did hold a set for me and that one of the other guys screwed up my invoice. Haven't heard anything from them since then. They got my payment last tuesday which was a money order.

Not sure if this means anything, but I wanted to meet up with him and pay cash for my wifes Altima headers and it never materialized, not on my part though. I found that kind of strange. Im about 45 minutes away from him.

I really hope you guys get your headers. I saw this and thought about getting 3 or 4 sets to sell on e-bay later but something smelled a bit funny. I ordered a set about a year ago and had to wait a really long time for them to be made.

It seems funny that a company that was close to going out of business would have invested that much into building up a large stock of these. It's also really sketchy that they have no phone or ability to charge CC. Who doesn't have at least a cell phone? They could use Pay-Pal for CC. Of course those are the two easiest ways to track someone down if they rip you off.

It could be that some former employee or someone got into the abandoned website for a scam. I know the company is reputable and I have their product but who knows if this deal has anything to do with the actual company or not. They've been out of business for a while now and their website has just been sitting there.

This is one time where I hope my opinion is wrong.

no sense in worrying at this moment...everything about this "deal" was sketchy, but i took the conscious risk despite caveat emptor and the old addage from my mother ,"if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is"." Time will tell...

I just heard from them.

"We’re still going through all the orders received. As soon as I get to yours, I’ll e-mail you the pertaining information. We’re still awaiting for funds to clear our bank to ship but I hope that most of the orders should be out of here by Friday. Thanks."

Same problem here...perhaps he has his own account and has UPS pick up the package and fills out his own UPS form complete with tracking #. If my tracking # does not work tonight, something is up.

whew.... been working on putting them on for an hour now. got the front header on and the stock y off. now im going to go work on the rear manifold. trying to decide if i should take the intake manifold off or not. i really dont want to since i just took it off a few weeks ago. oh i already snapped a stud on the cat so that will set me back a little. dont worry guys you will get your headers. i emailed him 3 times asking for a tracking number he said he would get me and never got a response. they'll come.

im almost there. i Will get these on tonight... little advice dont take off the intake manifold, im pretty sure i could have got to the rear header from down low. invest in a good pair of tight fitting gloves. (i only had one and my left hand is blooody) and drink some caffeine. oh and dont break off the cat stud, i think im going to have to break out the torch to torch it out and them put a nut and bolt through it.

i bought an o2 sim that came in today but its at my house. ill just drive with the ses light on for now. im on about hour 4 of the install and its not going so great. the torch is out of acetalyne (sp?) and im trying to drill out the damn cat stud. ive been drilling for about 30 minutes and im halfway through cuz this **** is hard as hell. im thinking that if i wouldnt have broke the stud off i could have these on and driving after 5 hours total. yea im doing the install by myself, had a couple buddys here but i dont think 2 people could both keep busy and i was making good time by myself. ill take some pics and post them tomorow but right now im looking at another probably 3 hours till their on. and i gotta tap new threads for my crossmember cuz i stripped one when i rebuilt the car and never fixed it... sad on my part i know. well wish me luck goin back to work...

I wouldnt use simulators, they will destroy your in-town (closed loop) mileage. Unless you tune it with some sort of piggyback ecu. Just use the wire extenders and mount both secondary oxygen sensors behind the main cat (use a metal sub race cat if you can) and you wont see the SES light.
