2001 AE Maxima Low Idol
Am I an idiot or is this a real debate????? 2001AE
Well obviously this is an ongoing issue. I have done some extensive research and it has come down to four items-which one of them is very confusing! The **** eclectic motor mounts only buzzing when the car is on but not running and messing with the throttle cable. The funny thing is Ive been beating myself in the head to find the least inexpensive way out, until I came across the buzzing sound. So I adjusted my throttle cable last night, because my car will start then die. Of course , I am throwing four codes which is , idle air, speed sensor, and two down stream O2s. So my question is , if I replace my idle air and my speed sensor-is that going to make my ECU go out?????? So next weekend Im going to replace my IACV and my speed sensor and Ive been told my numerous people to go ahead and unplug my electric mounts because of the buzzing, only when you mess with the throttle cable. So the real debate is to buy all these parts and replace them all and then trailer the car to have it flashed and then reprogrammed or to replace my IACV and speed sensor and take my chances on learning the throttle because I dont have ten grand to throw down on a consultII . So any feedback would be greatly appreciated, due to the new baby on the way.. I need to save every dime I can.
ps. Im in the real estate business so I do short and long distance all day. Cars idling but running like ****. Any local maxima guys in Austin let me know, I would like to BS with you.

If they're buzzing constantly, then yes, unplug them.
If adjusting the throttle cable is your fix, then good enough for you, I guess. Everyone else would actually diagnose the problem, starting with the code for the one thing that actually matters for the idle; the IACV.
What does your throttle cable have to do with your motor mounts? Do you mean they only buzz when you move the butterfly plate in the TB, while the key is in ignition? IIRC they change from hard to soft above a certain throttle percentage, in addition to speed.

I am replacing the parts that need to be replaced, but I have heard that these parts blow your ECU if your mounts are buzzing. The buzzing that I can Hear is when the car is off with the door open I hear the buzzing. I didn't know if they need to be replaced or unplugged. Me IACV was out for more a 1000 miles before SES light came ( that about when it started acting up ) and that is why I am wanting more info on this.
And is it that hard to learn your Idle or is it worth it to take and pay.
