20th Anniversary SE gauge cluster swap???

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 20th Anniversary gauge cluster and a regular SE cluster besides the color? I need to change mine because one of the gauges are broken and I am having trouble finding a replacement. I know that you have to match up the year which is 2001 and also whether it's an automatic and if it has traction assist, but I was told by the junkyard that it says in there computers that that 2001 SE cluster will work for all SE's with traction assist except the 20th anniversary and I don't see what could be different except the color of the gauges it looks identical. Anyone ever swapped a 20th anniversary gauge cluster unit before or know any information it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Why not call DaveB or your local Nissan dealership to find out if they are interchangeable? That would solve your question(s) fairly quickly.

They are somewhat interchangable, you can put a 2k1 cluster in a 2k but you CANNOT put a 2k cluster in a 2k1

The 20th cluster and the normal SE cluster for the automatic are the exact same thing. I have a 20th anniversary and my friend has a 2000 SE and the clusters are exactly the same. No difference in colors or any appearance.

The regular SE cluster has white face gauges doesn't it?? My 20th has titanium colored gauges. The gauges look exactely the same besides this. Im not really worried about the look though Im just worried that it might now work right or something. I had a problem with this in my mustang when I went to swap a 98 cluster into a 96 the gauges went all haywire and the cluster looked identical but wouldn't work right for some reason I had to get one out of the same year car. Oh well, I guess I'll call Nissan and see if I can get some answers out of them.
