uhh u should try to just put everything on first and let the stock ecu set the air/fuel.
i believe a lot of people has a bunch and doesnt even tune it with safc2; they put it on their dash for show and it runs fineeee

I have a PR intake, Frankencar catback, and cattman y-pipe (which, on a VQ30DE-K has similar gains to the headers) and have had no A/F problems....

I would just bolt them on, reset the ECU (unhook battery for a couple hours) and let the ECU relearn the air mix...

How would ANY A/F controller "mess up" your mid range? the only way you could mess up anything in reference with a EU is BAD TUNING....

PLEASE correct me if im wrong....

BTW, i have 2k VI with DEK injectors, PR CAI, Y-pipe, Greddy SP, Test pipe....etc....still havent tuned, and its fine...its my daily driver...Im waiting to install my EU, im just lazy....but with just headers and an intake i doubt tuning is THAT detrimental....Get it installed and c how it runs...the stock ECU can compensate more than you would think....
