Anyone think white rims would really clash with the pearl white of the MAXIMA.I love the supertouring looks of the white rims but don't want them if they will not match.Comments and suggestions please.
Thanks

Yeah I like the gunmetal I want 5zigen rims but don't know if the stock tires will fit. Not sure about the offset they offer either anyone know if they fit bolt pattern is correct the offset is 43 I think the offset of the A.E. rims are 45 not sure have to confirm this. Copse 5zr,heidfeld, or the fireball rims. Those rims are sweet I can't afford Volk so these are 2nd choice and Konig is third.I just love those Copse 5zr in white though.Check im out. www.autoimaging.com/wheels.html#prod49

O.k. here is what I want to know can someone please help answer this question. I want to put a 35 offset rim in front and a 43mm offset in the rear 5 zigen Copse wheels. Will this affect alignment or any other components on the car suspension or anything else.I think it would give the car a very aggresive look . Please help with comments newbie here to the board and yes I read the 5th gen wheel offset but it doesn't answer this question. Help please. I want it to look sorta like the car in the pic http://www.autoimaging.com/inc/5ZRLg2.jpg

Just the FAQs.

I think that SCCA Solo2 posted pics so you could form your own opinion about white wheels on the max, and a quick trip to the maxfaqs (on the 1st page, before the forums) turned up that the Maxima would normally take 35-38mm offset.
Of course, people have gone outside of the range Rules were meant to be broken, right? According to the site linked, that leaves you with +43mm 5x114.3 for the Copse

You could try the afflicted search feature for "5zigen OR copse" and see what turns up.

As far as the stock tires fitting, stock size is 225/50/17 or 215/55/16 correct? If 17", I'd guess your good up to 7.5" rims, but again, people have done all kinds of things.
Everyone will say go with 235/45/17 on 17x8", but IMHO, tires and rims cost more in those sizes.

Good luck. Post back what you find out.

p.s. What happened to the SVT? We have a 98 in the same color

I did search and I found out that discount tires offers rims that range from 35mm through 45mm offset. The white rims look really nice on his car but it is hard to tell if there is a big difference in the paint of the car and the wheel from the picture. My guess is it would be o.k. to missmatch the rims. Now if someone could give me an answer and tell me if I am right or wrong I called autoimaging and hopefully they will return my call.
