h3 mimi fog bulb replacements

Does anyone know if i can use other brand bulbs with maximabest mini fog h3 helios kit? Not sure if the ballasts and igniters are interchangeable like that. It's frustrating that one bulb blew with less than a year of use but even more frustrating is that he is not responding to any pm's or posts on questions i am asking him. Not sure if they were under warranty or not because he is not responding to anyone.

With almost $500 in lighting it's obviously important to me that i get her up and running again. Might sound crazy but it doesn't feel like the same car without being able to turn on my fogs. Any help on what other brand bulbs or what his deal is would be greatly appreciated.

If the H3c bulb also use the same standard AMP connectors, then yes.

Thks but i was hoping to find a pair that are new and maybe have a warranty on them. lol like maximabests great warranty. Now the guy has vanished off the earth. guess im answering my own question....basically even if $300 for hid fogs they will still blow. ironically i bought them because i got tired of piaa plasmas blowing all the time.

so i know im not the only one running hid fogs so come on guys, please help me out. what brands are you guys running in your fog hid kits? What k rating? pics welcome. how long have you had them? Is the company you bought them from still in business? How much for just the bulbs?

i see other group buy deals in here but are there any outside of the org that any have had experience with, and may last longer than 10 months? thanks in advance to any that may help.

I have had the 6K mini H3s from maximabest on for about two years using the same bulbs. I have only had to replace a ballast and ignitor due to an accident I had. I purchased them from this site......

I have also purchased other bulbs from this ebay seller without any problems...

Is there anything wrong with this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5737830&rd=1,1

it seems some what cheap for xenon bulbs. Should I purchase these or being looking somewhere else?

funny you just started this thread. I just noticed my right hid fog light was blown. Less than one year of use

So maximabest is not responding to pms thats wack. Let me know which bulbs you go with so I can buy a pair. I was thinking of maybe doing some yellow in the bottom I dont want to have to keep going through hid bulbs, I thought that they would last longer than this.

Why don't you send him a PM saying your trying to purchase, and I bet he'll answer. I did the same thing and got a response.

would the bulbs that automax sells (tech1) fit? Are they compatible with the helios?
