i bought the Akebono's for my wife's car b/c they seemed like the best priced (non-junk) ceramic pads. I was always told by my mechanic from years back that ceramics were the way to go. those Akebonos worked extremely well with the new rotors I put on...
I'm starting to second guess myself about buying those Hawks for my Max now...

off topic, you fellas know where I can get a good deal on NGK plat plugs?
with all the probs my wife's **** car has given me, my Max hasn't been getting any attention. it has about 61k on it...
brakes ordered, need new plugs, and gonna slap one of those cheap tsudo systems on to open her up. i put on a cheap oem knockoff when my muffler broke and now it's really restricted - much moreso than it was before the muffler broke. need to open her up some - too much backpressure.
