I had a little hit and run incident today and...

I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea how much it would cost to replace the front bumper OEM + OEM grill? I'm trying to figure out if its worth the insurance claim so if someone could give me approxiamte pricing (if youve unfortunately had to replace lately or anything) and also what clean looking aftermarket offerings w/ prices are availible. thanks

I'm assuming he got hit since he is wondering to file an insurance claim or not.


I would say around 400-500 bucks with a new foam reinforcement.

I was involved in a hit and run last year on my Max. New hood, front bumper, new a/c system, new DS headlight, battery and repaint for me was about $6600.00

 

250 for bumper
50 for foam peice

Pictures would be helpful, you may need a new bumper (big aluminum bar behind the fascia), retainer and a few other things.

on 00-01 grille is part of bumper

 

from what i can tell its not nearly as bad as the pic above. just a maybe 2 inch diameter punch through the bumper and a shreded liscense plate but i will make sure to check if everything else is ok

 

$4300.00 for me. My sis-in-law backed into my car and aftermarket was the only way i could get it approved unless i wanted to pay the difference or wait for her insurance to get off it's *** and cut me a check.

 

Shop around.Everyone charges differently.Id say $400 + with paint.
