Drivers Side Power Window Auto Switch

I did a search, but didn't find anything like what I'm seeing on my max. My 02 drivers power window auto up and down function doesn't work. I can push and hold to make the window go up and down, but can't push once for the window to auto up or down like the passenger side. Is this a simple reset or switch issue?

You will need to replace the switch. I had an issue with the driver's side auto window switch on my 2000 and it resulted in a power window motor replacement. I was having intermittent problems with the auto switch and one day I used it to put the window up...too bad the switch malfunctioned and didn't shut down the power window motor. About $550.00 later it was fixed. Fortunately it was covered under an extended warranty.

Might want to replace the switch when you get a chance.
