Axxtion STS installed w/ poly bushings, OMFG why did i wait so long

see this
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=522176 both places had lightning fast shipping 2 days max from buying them

this is right up there with the rear sway bar as far as i am concernedm what a drastic diferance, from sloppy feel (oe bushings were shot at 50K) and nice tight short throw.

only thing is what every one else seems to say...getting used to kinda slaming (not realy slaming, just more effort) over and down to reverse.

this also got rid of the engine movement feed back i was experiancing...now for lower motor mounts

Thats great to hear..... i think you made my mind....

one quick question, is the shifting really "stiff" and like harder to shift or still smooth like factory?

there is a nylock nut tighten on the actuall shifter rod in hte car that you can make tight and stiff...or just like stock...mine is just like stock.

it is a little stiffer but thats good. the stock throws are sloppy with a lot of play. with the bushings its stiff and precise...you know its going in to the gear.

and reverse is hard...my girl has to use both hands (to put the car in reverse)

mine is as easy to move as the stock set up was...its just crisper, again...i played with the tension of hte nylock ny like puppetmaster siad in his write up http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=455387 and it is as easy as stock.

you just need to be fast with a little more than normal effert for reverse...no complaits here.

I still think that the throw on the homemade STS is shorter then something like this. I purchased a STS like this and went back to the homemade version because I thought the throw was shorter.
