Weird Stutter power change issue
Okay not sure if the issue I'm having is normal or not. It does it almost all the time on mine and mine's the only 6speed I've ever driven. Automatic I guess I probably wouldn't have noticed. Cruising along at pretty much any speed light throttle and then I change to say 25% throttle something "kicks in" and it's fairly abrupt about it. I know the IM has the butterfly but didn't think it kicked in till higher RPM's. There's the Variable cams maybe that is flipping. Is this normal hopefully I've described this right. Also I was thinking about getting the PCM reflashed at the dealer just to make sure I've got all the latest fixes that I've seen in TSB's and to get a clean start. Is that something they would typically do and how much would they charge for that.

Remember our cars are drive by wire. The throttle is always a little "tricky" if you ask me. I can remember the same thing happening to me. Usually when I give it part throttle it shutters a little just for a brief second (like it's thinking about it) then its fine.

My throttle response is just fine, amazing actually. Back on topic. You may need to have the TSB re: throttle lag done. Your trip to get that taken care of should cure/fix the problem. Also, if you have an MIL, then, that trip will too shed some light on the stated problem.

NTB03-022 Hesitation with Manual Transmission. Momentary hesitation between 2000-3000 RPM's. That's one there's another TSB or reflashing the ECM. I don't know if they would do it for free but hopefully it doesn't cost much.
