resetting sunroof

resetting sunroof

I know the way to reset if it is stuck open, is there a way to reset when it is closed , I have a 2003 and it has the slide switch. I changed battery on car and now it does not work

its stuck closed and neither the slide or tilt options work? Or just the slide?

Just hold the tilt button in the forward position with the car on. You'll here it make the click or shift sound. Then your set. After it makes the sound then try the slide feature.

By the way it's in your owners manual.

ok tested motor and it is kaput. and the owners manual is only if it is stuck open.

no its not.

if you disconnect the battery, you have to reset the switch. the procedure is the same no matter where the sunroof is.

I've never had to reset my switch, isn't that vierd *crazy dutch bastard accent*
Except for the time it refused to open for no reason, and I had just used it too. Crazy *** electronics.

This can be a real pain make sure to test for leaks!!!!!!!!!

It is probably an electrical problem which can stem from anything to the fuse to being off track or the motor
