code p0420
anyone got this?

got it after headers were installed.
the guy who put em on for me placed my sensor in a different spot.
he put it a little closer to the engine... on the headers, could this be causing it to throw a code...

help please

Did you check to see what the code is for? The Stickies has a list of DTCs.

Everyone with aftermarket headers will get the P0420 and P0430 DTCs unless they do something with their secondary O2 sensors because you are removing both pre-cats. You need to either bung the secondaries behind the main cat or simulate them. There is more information on this in the Header Sticky.
