Which H4 bulbs come closest to replicating the light of a true Xenon lighting system? I was thinking about buying either PIAA Plasmas or Extreme Whites. Any Suggestions?

PIAA superwhites. I have them myself and they are the best I've seen yet.

Another vote for Raybrigs. I like them a lot. I have a set of White Thunder H4's for my headlights right now. They are very nice. The output of the light is bright white with a very slight blue if you look carefully. For good prices on Raybrigs check this site out:

Bulbs

I can say for a certain that the NAXOS bulbs are the best. I have tried the HIPER, PIAA, APC brands and none can even come close to this color.

I have an HID kit in my Maxima and these bulbs are the closest thing. I have these NAXOS bulbs in my 2001 Suzuki GSX-R600 bike. I will take a bike side by side and show you the results.

They are under the 'New Products' section. Contact the guy and he will tell you what he has.... The Magnum Whites are also good. Either will be nice for the fogs...just check to see if they are available in H3 size

No more PIAA's for me. They always burn out.(Platinum)
I like the RAZO ion H3's. Hyper Industries H4 seem cheap but its aiight, I guess? Visibility not better than stock. I'll try Raybrig H4's next.

Comparison

First post!

Has anyone ever done a side-by-side comparison of the Raybrig White Thunders and the PIAA Xtreme Whites? If so, do you have pics? The color temp. of both of these is so close that I am wondering how much of a difference there is. If there is negligible color/intensity difference between the two, which has the better reputation (I haven't heard as much about Raybrig as I have about PIAA)?

Thanks to Maxima.org, my wife thinks that I have gone off the deep-end because I want to keep modding her car!
