Coming home at like 3am in the morning (i love vegas sometimes!), i catch up to a couple of guys in two civic hatches:
1. EG HB, B18C1, i/h/e
2. EF HB, B18A, i/h/e

Both had a passenger. I pulled up to the EG and asked what he had, he was hesistant at first to tell me, but, I guess me telling him I have a CRX kinda let down his guard (nissan **** news spreads fast?). I knew this was not a car to race from a stop, so, when we started going I went slowly until i was into first gear's sweet spot and then I took off, he followed and maintained right at my door. he was slowly inching ahead from 20-80mph, but, at 80mph, there was a brickwall...he just stopped. at 80mph, he was even with me and he was slowly inching back.
I would say this was a win-lose situation. 1/4 mile, he'd probably beat me. On the fly, it wasn't all there. We both nodded and I went after the EF.

EF (which had MR2 tails molded in, nice job, but, not my style) was from a roll at like 25mph. He had a car on me to begin with. At 80mph, I was even. 100mph, I passed him. Confirmed kill.

Come to find out after talking with the guy that I went to high school with him. I think my Yellow CRX of yore was quite famous. It's funny how car folks relate people to cars... "You that guy who had the yellow crx." "That's me."

Eh.

I like EGs.
