I was supposed to pick up my car today a brand new 20th anniversary Max...I was told friday they would HOLD the car and the paperwork would be ready Monday and that I could pick it up then...Well the Freakin dealership sold MY car on Saturday. Freaking a-holes...there is more to this story but since I am still in the process of fixing this situation I can't really talk about it for fear of wandering eyes. I just had to vent so please bare with me....

dude that sucks!!!

I would go down there and fricken BREATHE FIRE on them right on the showroom floor to make a scene and scare away customers!

If they screwed up this big, then they freakin owe you BIG TIME and they should be kissing your feet to get you to still buy the car there.

If you still buy there, you have a nice set of cards in your hand, so use it to your advantage. We're talking some serious $$$$ off of your negotiated price, or whatever.

They screwed you over, so now it's time to screw them back!

Here's what happened...

Since I got my 2000 SE in Jan. 2000 I have had nothing but problems...(the TCM TSB, a blown transmission, warped rotors 2x's, sun roof motor broke, subwoofer static, seatbelt vibration, trunk bumper TSB (trunk still isn't fixed properly) - basically, just a few things) It was all covered under warranty but the fact is that I was visiting the dealer 2-3 times a month for non-maintenance related items. So I came to the conclusion that I have a Lemon on my hands...yes I was surprised also...I could see all these things possibly happening over the life of a car but in less than 18 months and especially to a Nissan?

So I wrote Nissan a letter basically complaining and threatening to possibly seek Lemon Law remediation. Well I got a response right away from Nissan ( I guess i wrote the right person) Well this corporate Nissan guy has been busting his but to get me in a new 2001 at very little cost to me in order to remedy the situation. Since they couldn't find a car at the dealership(and that no other dealerships would trade for one since they are hot sellers), I said I would pay the difference for the 20th anniversary...at cost mind you. Well after all the negotiation back and forth we settled and then the dealer pulled the 20th anniversary out from under me...how low is that? Sorry just had to vent...

And to think I went with the Maxima since I thought it would be more reliable then the BMW...
