Correct Remote?

Is there anyway to make sure the remote I have is for the car I bought? My remote is not working eventhough I changed the battery. I want to make sure this remote is for my car before I call the dealership and complain.

Thanks.

Here is my remote. The correct remote for my 2002. My mom has an 03 GLE with the same style remote.

That would be the one. I'm sure you may need to reprogram it to get it to work. Don't know what the procedure is though. Maybe the FSM would have the procedure?

BTW how do you run around with so much "stuff" on your key ring? That would drive me up the wall.
