I now have 26,000 miles on my baby. I think that I need to go to a dealer to check my rotters and it still should be covered under warantee. However, I replaced my original brake pads after 10,000 miles and have not replace them ever since. I looked last week but there is still plenty of meat left. Should I put the original pads back on before going to the dealer or that shouldn't matter.

Also, when I come there. What exactly should I tell them?

????-->"the rotters are wraped and the tsb requires you to fix them" or something else

If your pads are not factory type, its unlikely they will do rotors under warranty. I'd put the originals back in if you're expecting them to consider warranty coverage.

Does someone make "ricey" rotors for the max? The ones with all the holes and grooves?

Right. The holes crack and slots eat up your pads!

That's a rediculous price. Did anyone actually buy them?

Any other companies? C'mon, they're brake rotors. Aren't they standardized or something?

I have 30,000 miles on my max and havn't changed any part of the factory suspension stuff and it stops same as the day i bought it... Even with the 19"s. I do plan to upgrade to the stillen front kit and prob c/d/s roters lines pads and 2 piston calipers in the back soon though. If you look at all the company's that make brake upgrades there all expensive as hell. Stillen,baer,brembo...all make kits are are all about the same price.
