stg.1 LTB, worth it if you have a FSTB already?

i know there are threads about the LTB's (mostly stg. 2) but my question is if the loss of ground clearance is worth it....does it realy make that mush of a noticable differance if you have a FSTB? (stg 2 is nice, but to many stories of fitment issues)

plan on eibach and ilums when the suspensio neds to be replaced.

thanks

the FSTB does nothing compared to the LTB

The ground clearance depends on your driving habit and where you drive and the roads you take. It shouldn't be that much of a difference since its 1" subtracted from the ground clearance but change the height with the springs/shocks and you might want to drive more carefully. The upper front strut bar would help but you might not feel a noticeable difference, the stiffer the chassis the better the performance.

the LTB sits directly between the wheels so it moves up and down with the car. if you go over a speed bump...the LTB raises as its going over the bump. the only time it will hit is if you are straddling something that the wheels dont touch such as a small raises bump in the road.
driving on normal roads, its never an issues. ive only scrapped mine one.

This can't be installed if you have headers correct?

Will be waiting for the redesign then...would hate to have to make the purchase again once headers go on. Which stage do you have sooner? How do you like it?

im pretty sure headers are being redesigned (cattman?) not the LTB. there isnt much you can do with the LTB without really losing clearance.

i have the stage 1 and love it

From my experience, the difference is barely noticeable during normal driving. (with st1 with/without it) However it makes it easier to point the car in a right direction if you are going at "some slip angle."

BTW, after I dropped the car, I've been hitting my LTB all the time. Not to mention, I don't fit on some of the lifts any more.

It doesn't really annoy me though...
