VAFCII, where to mount?????

recently bought a vafcII for my 5.5th gen
gonna do the install today. BUT i dont want to put it just anywhere and end up taking it down in the future leaving holes that will make my interior look ugly.

any suggestions as to where i could put it?
any pics? any ideas?
thanks alot.
keep the "BS" to yourselves.

In the sunglass holder unless you use it.

Right above the steering wheel column in front of the gauge bezel. It will sit low enough so you still see everything. Use 3m tape instead of the stand, this way you can remove it with no problem

it wont reach the sunglass holder. you will have to extend the wires. the wiring is shorter than the safc for some reason. i actually had mine in the lower middle spot of the gauge bezel. i just used 3m tape so it never let loose unless you pulled it loose.

Just an FYI, if your car is broken into, anything not actually BOLTED down will not be covered. So if you use 3M tape, your paying for a new one out of your own pocket, unless your homeowners/renters insurance will cover it, which they sometimes will. This is quoted from both Geico and State Farm. Again, just an FYI.

I just use the stand right above the AC vents in the middle. I have black velcro to hold it in place on the stand and can take it off and put it in the glove box when I need to.

I like on the AC vents. Out of sight but still somewhat in sight.
