this past half year i've been having to close my trunk like 20 or more times for it to close. so today we find that the (catch part on the car) has gotten low and the latch on the trunk lid wont catch. we almost got it but i broke a tail light which i gotta replace tomorrow. does this require some work to have it welded higher or what? anybody had this problem before. sux cuz i just paid to enter a car show saturday

 

ummmm, unscrew the latch and raise it up.

 

got it resolved. took all my anger out on it and i had to manually move the latch to lock it from inside the trunk. now my both tail lights just went out what else could go wrong maan
