Hey quick question,

I tried to plug in something in my outlet and it keeps blowing the fuse.. even if i just stick the adapter in by itself , it still blows the fuse out.. any idea what could be causing the blow out. i tried diferent adapters and the same result..

Check to make sure there's nothing in the outlet. That happened in my old car. There was a led in it.

 

You might have a short somewhere.

What else do you have tied into this? Anything t-tapped into the power lead?

Check to see if there's a snip or break in the insulation on the wire (power or ground) touching metal behind the dash. Should be easy enough.

dont ever put a paper clip in for a fuse
i would replace the outlet and check the wiring to make sure there is no breaks in insulation that will catch a ground.all of which some one has said above, but a couple more opinions help.
