How happy are you with your fogs & which do you have?
IMHO, Silverstars are not worth the money - just get basic halogen bulbs. I purchased HIR bulbs for my 4Runner and when researching, I was forwarded an article by candlepower which proves that Silverstars (which use a tint on the bulb to simulate higher kelvins) actually produce less lumens than a standard bulb. On top of that, they overdirve them to compensate for the tint and to appear brighter, which is why they burn out so frequently. I used them for a few years and on average, they'd burn out every year. I wish I could share the article, but there's no way to upload it.
On another note, I'm running Morimoto 35w 6000K's on my headlights, and stock halogens in the fogs (aftermarket, JDM style). I want to install HID's in the fogs, but I'm hesitant because they don't have a reflector cap to cover the front of the bulb. I have read you can paint a portion of the HID capsule to create a cutoff. Has anyone tried this and is able to share where how to paint the capsule?

I can't remember if they're Ultra's or not, I'll have to check it out. I do know that I'm running Ultra's in the headlights, and they work well. I had them in a previous car I owned for a couple of years, and they never burned out. As far as pics, I don't currently have any with them on.

I recently bought some LED fogs from amazon. Barely could tell they were on. Returned them for white ones much better than the yellow ones. Personally halogens or HID's would be the best choice. Not quite sure the whole LED process has been mastered yet.
Checked on ddmtuning.com and I didn't see any products listed for the Nissan Maxima, but did find this http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/E4...tor-Fog-Lights
Exactly how much of a waste would it be to try to frankenstein them into the 2002-2003 Maxima fog lamp housing?

I bought yellow h3 bulbs from Autolumination. and they lasted about a month before one bulb blew out. I wanted to get some french fogs (yellow) lights instead, thought they would look good with a blue car. I bought a pair of lights last week from dazracing or something like that and installed them the other day and they look pretty good imo and wicked bright at night. I think they bran of the lights were fron wnjct or something like that. 75 bucks for the pair, if i could post a pic i would but i'm not up there on my posts yet.

Specs on Mr. Beastwood's fogs can be seen on my site here:

The clear fog lenses definitely help clean up the output.
