Hello Everyone. I've been lurking for sometime taking in all the Maxima talk. I even know which mods to get first(FTSB & RSB) & rims of course. I sold my car and are going to get a 2k1 GXE 5 spd Maxima. I went to a few dealerships here in Texas and the best price I came up with is $18k plus TTL which came out to be $19.5k. With the new 2002 Maxima coming out I decided to wait til at least the first of August in hopes of getting even a better deal. Can a brand new 2k1 Maxima GXE 5 spd. be had for under $18k? I am paying cash so that helps a tad. Any input would be appreciated.

18K + TTL, sounds about right to me for a GXE 5-speed. But I think you could even get it down to 18K-18.5K out the door. But I would wait till August or Sept to buy cause in Sept, the new 02 Max is suppossedly being released.
