Personally I like FLOWMASTERS.
They flow and produce soundlevels according to which model series you choose. Just look at their comparison charts on what sound your looking for(mellow/powerful/aggressive). Also, they are 100% metal(no filling material), so they don't get louder as they get older, however I've heard they rust through in coastal and snowy areas. They are around $90 in the Summit catalog.

Once again, I'd recommend you try before you buy. The only way to do that is to find a muffler shop that carries all the muffler brands you're interested in auditioning.
