Nope... no need to compress the GC's. You don't need to compress the stock spring before taking it off (you should, but it's not necessary).

You're not monopolizing my time. It's either me helping you or me spa..... participating.

For the bumpstops, I suggest using only the top stump. Basically, cut off the top ring and use that.

Ok...so use the normal 4th gen procedures for the strut housing modification, you don't actually have to compress the spring, hmmm...that's interesting. Then for the bumpstops cut off the top ring and use that. Did I miss anything?? Oh yeah, what about the rears? Anything special that you have to do back there? Is it just remove and replace? Just making sure again. Again Kev, thanks for the info. I want to be prepared when I get these bad boys. Oh yeah, where did you put your spring settings to initially? Did you adjust them to the highest height and then adjust from there? Okay...more later I'm sure!!

You're welcome.

Same thing for the rear. Just use the top because it supports the other part of the mount.

Set the springs to the highest setting?!?!? Nah... we set it at the lowest and went upwards. I have 6" springs, so we started out by turning the perch 10 times (full revolution).
