Disappointed with 5th Gen at Maxus
#1
I was disappointed with the 2000-01 show up at Maxus, There were only a few. I was there to see if the 5th Gen. had mods; however, I was impressed with the 4th Gen. cause they represent! I look forward in seeing you guys next year and definitely will have mods on my MAX.

There were over a dozen! Take a look again. Not bad for 88 cars. There are many more 4th gens on the road.

Did you not see Pioneer's green Max? That is a very nice car for sure!

Hey!
My ride was representin the 5th Gens of the East Coast. You are right though, the 5th Gen turnout was much less than I expected. They're the reason that I went in the first place. Some of the 4th Gens are sweet, but not many modded 5th Gens were there. Besides rims, mine was one of the few that had some minor mods here and there, as well as FloMax and Jeff K. Peace.

Re: Hey!
Hmmm... how about Chillboy? Remember his white 2K1? If we got all of us together, it would have been better. We were all spread out.

Yeah, Nauman too. Y pipe and OSCAI. I have interior, handling, and OSCAI 2.0. I don't have rims yet.
Yesterday I was contemplating a V2 install. I'm not sure it's a wise move. $4500 and I'll still be slower than the new 2002 Altima. (14.7 @ 96 in Motor Trend) And the tranny is too weak to handle the track runs I want to do.

Too far away...
I would have been glad to represent the 5th gen's out there. But I live in south MS and driving to washington was a little much. It should be held in the middle of the country somewhere. That way it is an equal drive for all.
I will be competing at NOPI Nationals for those of you who want to see a modded 5th gen.
