Hi All,
My nephew had a flat today in has 2000 Maxima and his jack bent and fell over while changing the tire. The jack was straight and the car was on flat pavement. What a bummer! The jack doesn't seem strong enough. Has anyone else has used the jack and has had a problem????

I have used the jack twice and have had no problems. The nails from the construction around my area is killing me. I am glad the flats were patchable. The problem I have is with the donut they give for a spare. Why don't they use a normal size tire???

I've used the stock jack about 3 times, it has never given me a problem. Although I bought myself a higher quality jack and jack stands because you're only supposed to use it in case emergencies. It doesn't look that sturdy, but it is enough for those rare occasions.

When I bought my car salvage the only real problem was that two rims on the side were bent, so I had to buy 2 new rims w/ tires. However one wasn't all that bad so I use that for a spare...

full size spare = more weight = less gas mileage
Also, the donut is probably cheaper for Nissan to
throw in.
