I'm wondering if the Optima battery is any ighter than than the stock battery. Optima info says it weighs 37lbs min. Anybody ever weigh the stock battery? I'd like to put my car on a diet.

Also, anybody know where I can find a billet or chrome battery hold-down to replace the stock black steel part? There seem to be a lot of these available for Hondas etc and I'd think one of them might fit the Maxima battery but dunno fer sure.

I have an optima yellow top...I woun't say its lighter. I never wieghed them but from the feel of each I doubt it's lighter.
