I got a qoute from my local nissan dealer for a pair of 2002 tail lights. I was qouted $157.00.....I wonder is Courtesy Nissas has them cheaper, anybody where to get them cheaper?

 

yea when 2002 comes out find some lucky sap in your neighborhood that wants to trade without knowing about it

 

$157??? that's actually not too bad considering aftermarket is around that. Well a little bit less. This i OEM we're talking about, so more expensive.

 

I was quoted about 300 for the SE tailights last year. 157 is pretty good. Maybe I can talk my dealer to that??

 

Does anyone know if these will be a direct bolt-on replacement?

It seems as if it should because the new ones look like the ones now. The tinted part is clear on the 2002s.

 

i just want the 00-01 SE tail lights...forget about those 02 tail lights...they look kinda weird to me...
but then again, that's just my opinion...no offense..

 

think bout it this way... with all the 00-01 se owners wanting 02+ tail lamps, there will be plenty of people willing to sell us some SE tails cheap!

 

I agree with irvine! I HATE the new tails. I think the 00-01 SE Tails are SOOOOO nice. I am thinking of blacking out the clear piece but besides that they are nice. I hate orange in tails! And no offence, but Altezzas are for Honda Ricers.

 

I want my uncle to paint my tailights the body color(black) so it matches. But lotta people telling me that it scratch very easily... will it do that if i prime, base coats, then clear coat?

Yah I mean I think the SE lights I have now look nicer. The 2 advantages I see in 2002 lights is that

a) something new
b) looks like a 2002, thinking like a rice boy now
