ok, i picked up a E and F, and installed them easily.

I installed them with the scoop thing facing towards the front of the car, thinking it will 'shoot' the sound towards people/cars.

my question is that, is that setup bad in the rain? it looks like all the rain will go straight into the horn =X

the stock horns didnt matter, they were all rusty and stuff, but im not sure if these FIAMM's can handle it.

and lastly, will these scoops slow down my car

----------
err, i just got back from my friends house. (wanted to use the horn ) well, are these horns supposed to have a clean sound no matter how long you hold it?

because i was holding down the horn, hoping to annoy my friend, but my E note dies, sounds like its farting after 3 clear seconds.

Don't know about rain getting into the horns, but I was just wondering about the sound.

I installed the Hella Triple Airhorns into my 4th gen and although it's kinda loud, it sounds too high pitched.

Are the E & F louder and deeper than stock or what?

As long as the horn isn't pointing upwards like 2001SE did, and they broke they should be with the opening pointing down i think, just so the opening doesn't point up....

the E & F together sound very nice.

Deeper, like a VHUMMMPH. it's very pleasing, until one horn dies out, than its like a VHUMMPH-FART-FART-FART

I'm gonna have to play with the horn again, and make it facing downwards =\

Is there anyway to get the horns professionally installed?

erm, you could probably take it to a shop, but they'll probably give you a funky look =X

it really takes ~2 minutes to change the horn by the engine;
1) pull off the wire
2) unscrew the nut
3) take off the stock horn
4) put on the new horn, and have the jumper wire it comes with on other side of the bracket, and screw on the nut.

( [nut] [jumper wire] |BRACKET| [horn] )

5) start spamming your horn

the horn behind the grill is a real pain in the butt, i kept slicing my wrist on the edge of the bumper and car, uhhg. but i got that done in 10 minutes (only because i wanted the horn to look a specific way.
