who cares if u lose racing is fun no matter if u win or lse but in my opinion u prob will lose but keep the race going as long as u can if he has direct port NOS than his engine will go BOOMi f it isnt done right so keep him sprayin! but he is an auto! 4 cylinder autos suck more than 6 cylinders so u never know!

Hmmmm.... 80 shots plus Prelude motor..... the advantage is definitely on his side. Is he a smack talker? If yes, you're screwed both ways. If no, then go for it.

From the info I got from my cousins, they raced him before with their VW 1.8t with chip. They were tied with him because he can not launch the car. On top end, he could not catch up. When I raced my cousins last time, we were tied... and that was before the y-pipe and trany mod. This is why I think I will give him a good race. Oh well... nothing to it but to do it!

if he doesnt squeeze on you then you should take him. H22 powered Accord's are still pretty slow. (15sec dwellers)the 93 is older body style also and its an auto. Youll take him. juss drop off his bottle before you race him.

 

How about if he squeezes??? I'd like to try him with NOS.
I don't think it will be much of a race, but what the heck.
I am pretty sure I can beat him if he does not use the NOS though.

Don't know for sure... that is what he told me and has up on his homepage

 

its the newer H23 Prelue motor. Older one is H22. No offense, if he is on the bottle, he'll SMOKE you

 

ohhh... I see.... usually whenever I heard of someone swapping in a prelude motor, it was always the H22...

 

htis gonna be on track or street? if street,no not worth it. track, then go for it.. but it'll be a close race. whats the bet?? $100? if no bet is involved then go for it, if there is, then u best get some juice.

 

Ask him to run the 1'st race without NOS....
If he beats you, which I doubt with the mods you got,
then forget about the 2nd race...

If you beat him on the 1'st run, let him go NOS on the
2nd run....it should be fun.....

Besides, we mod for these "occastions".

you never know, juss race him and find out. He might blow his tranny when he squeezes and youll beat him, you never know.......

 

I will get him by about 1/2 of the line through 1st, once we get through 2nd gear, he will catch me, by the end of 3rd gear he is 1 car length ahead.
Ok, my question is: Once I get my NOS in ( 75 shot ), how would I fare against him? Will 75hp make up 1 1/2 car lengths?

Yeah, he wouldn't run me without the NOS. I ran a vtec prelude with intake and exhaust before and I was able to beat him by 1 car length up to 3rd gear.
After I ran the NOS guys, ran into a Mustang 5.0. I am pretty sure it was stock, because I was able to take him by 1-2 car lengths in 3 different races. I know he was running me because at the 4th light, I gave him the thumbs up and he rolled down the window and wanted to run 1 more time. My brakes were giving, so I passed and turned off.
