I had hoped to do this about a month ago but have not gotten around to it yet.... I am wanting to take my Max into a local upholstery shop and have them install a leather boot into the console and on the e-brake... just like a 95-99 would have. Those looked much better. I dont know what Nissan was thinking when they made this one. Maybe I can take a run by there on Saturday. If so, I will post to let ya know what I find out!

Will this work?

If so, where is the cheapest place to order?

I'd like this, plus a grey/black shift boot, and a black 4th gen e-brake boot with a combat silver shift ****.

I like that one, now if we can only find a leather boot.

So you guys telling me the momo handle will be able to attach to the maxima? Cuz the stock is just one whole plastic handle. Has anyone actually installed or tried to install an aftermarket ebrake handle?? Sorry for the confusion
Thanks yall!

No, I'm not sure. I'm sure you have to remove the stock handle, then it's just a gamble on whether you can make the button mechanism work.

I'm hoping to make it by my local performance shops this weekend to see what they know or if they can get one. I don't think the E-brake boot is going to be a problem, since once you remove the stock handle, you just 3M-tape the excess underneath. Just a guess though.

Anybody find a price yet???? I thought I saw one for around $90(OUCH!), but I can't find where anymore.

Yes, probably around $80-100 for the handle and $50 for the boot.

It was $160.00CDN at the place I checked for both the handle and boot. That would work out to about $105.00US. If that is a good price for both maybe I will pick one up. I agree the e-brake handle looks welfare.

If it's the same handle I attached above with a nice leather boot, I'd buy it for $105. I'm still not sure if the handle is compatible though.

It looks like it would be too short and would not cover the present e-brake handle.

That's what the boot is for. The only complication is how the button works.
