The lighter the car the sweeter the 2K2 rear lights look. This is what my Max needed all along.

Re-Take Photo

Tomorrow I will take a photo of the car with my digital cameral from work. It's a 3.3 meg camera. It takes a better photo. It shows even fine scratches. This way Max owners who are considering to purchase 2k2 lights can get a better idea how they look on lighter colored cars.

It's strange how similar the two colors look in certain light. On a cloudy day, the two colors look almost exactly the same.

My car is sunlight sand and on certain occasions it looks like a silverish car. Looks good.

I dont know but, I swear to you that the damn 2K2 tailight with the clear/chrome around the lights just dont seem to go with ANY freagin color I have seen. I saw it on a SuperBlack and it looked WHACK!

hmm, i've found too, that my sunlit sand, depending on the lighting, goes from a silverish to a warm gold.

i prefer the 00-01 tails to the new 02 tails.

been there, done that, got a t-shirt...I been to two dealers down here and one JUST now got the 2K2 Maxima in and Parts would have to special order the lights and that would take at least a month

Wow that looks almost like the same color as my car. Weird how Sunlit Sand and Sterling Mist look the same under some lighting.

That's why black looks the best: it's always black, and it's never mistaken. But I agree, the 02 tail lights look SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER on light colored cars than on the Superblack 5th gen max.

Im curious, why is that...is it because the SE ones blend in better as oppose to the 2002 light or is it because of the amber in the 2002 lights. Has anyone seen them on a Majestic Blue Maxima??
