Damn Air Freshener

Listen to this crap. I got one of those air fresheners that clip on to your A/C vent. It's the kind that's like the Glade Plug-In's, where you slide the little cartridge into the holder, then clip it onto the vent. So it was hot yesterday, and apparently the gel melted, and it leaked onto the area right below the vent, but above my CD player, and it looks like it dissolved the paint/surface coating away. The grey paint is now gone, leaving a streak of the underlying black molding that the vent it made of.

What should I do? Can the dealer replace the paint there? Or does the whole vent faceplate need to be removed and replaced? It looks friggin horrible. Thanks for ya'lls help in advance.

if...

if its just center vent, that pulls out and replaces easily. prolly set you back $60-100, but it's easily replacable
