Question....What is the blue film that people put on their headlights and where do you get it ?

I don't mean blue bulbs, these lights are blue when the bulb is not on.

Please do NOT do this. Sacrificing visibilty for some crappy blue look is not a good thing. Even getting blue bulbs would be better(although tinted bulbs also make the light worse)

Yah I don't know about you guys but I consider the blue film very Rice even more so than my seatbelt pads And like Jeff said they decrease your visibility drastically.

Don't like it eh

I don't know, I saw it on a blue civic and thought it looked cool. I figured I could stick it on & if I didn't like it pull it back off. No matter though, I can't seem to find the stuff.

I don't want blue bulbs, I already put expensive PIAA's in the car & I like those.

BTW, I finally saw a 2002 yesterday. I don't like the tail lights...BUT...they are better than the previous non-SE tails. My fav's are still the blacked out SE tail lights. Especially on black Max's.

I think the charcoal film looks decent, but not the one that's 100% blacked-out, and for SURE not the blue one.

But do whatever you like, it's your car. And if visibility is bad, get brighter fogs or something. It's not like you won't be able to see the road.

#1 priority should always be glare reduction. You have to think about what you're doing to other people. So far I've installed an electrochromatic autodimming mirror from a junkyard and tinted all the windows. I still have a problem with glare from the side mirrors so I have them adjusted further out so they don't shine in my eyes. Glare from oncoming traffic is bad sometimes especially when the road curves so I often hold my hand out to block the light or put my sunvisor down. A lot of new brake and turn signal lights have been getting too bright lately. We need dimmer lights, not brighter ones.

Those blue tint films mess up the beam and throw the light all over the place (including oncoming driver's eyes)...
