Hi guys, last week I was at my dealer for a 18K check engine light while I was waiting for them to reprogram something... I asked the manager about the Nissan body kit for my 2K1 Se, how much it would go for and the usual questions, like if they have a pic or something to show me, to my surprise they had no picture but the worst is the price, they are asking 2600$ CDN + taxes + installation, holly crap am I cheap or what ? 2600$ for a body kit I though this would sell for around 1200$ CDN + or - 700$US.

Does Nissan is going crazy or is it just me who is totally outdated and need to be upgraded ?

What do you guys think ?

Thanks

Double A

yeah it's the same here in Calgary. they want 1600 bucks for the kit, but that does not include shipping. I went to www.eatricezone.com and got the kit for $729US. if ya want the kit go there and Phuong will take care of ya!

That sounds about right for Canadian prices... I paid basically 2X US dollar numerical value for my AE kickplates. People were talking about a 1100$ skirt kit, plus don't forget that the Canadian 2001s do not have the skirt kit and things make "sense".

For me to buy a US $$$ it is roughly 1.55 so for 100$ US, I have to spend 155$ cdn approx.

I want to spend money, but G, 1700$ US for a Nissan Body kit, euh, I am pretty shure to find a nice kit for 1000$ or less and buy a Y-Pipe, lowered spring and perhaps an RSB with the rest. Nissan exec should learn a marketing lesson, and make their customer happy, they should sell it at least at the competition price or if the product is better or offer more option than it is ok to pay more no doubt, but double price I believe Bert Paid around 800$ US.

Cheers
