Hi guys, friday morning I came back from our summer family vacation, I drove 2600 KM in 2 run of 12-13 hours ( back & forth ). It was a quite pleasant ride, we were 4 passenger 3 adults and my 9 years old daughter, also the trunk was full of luggage, the car was almost perfects. Every one in the car enjoyed the ride and felt the car very confortable and secur. At higher speed though, I could felt some car bodyroll, the brake are ok for average driver but I definitely want better response specially in the mountains. I am glad we had that trip, cuz now I know exactly were I want to improve my Max, but all in all there is not so much missing for me to be totally happy with the car.

Cheers

i like driving in my car........

I drove my Max from Toronto to Myrtle Beach in May and it was great. The 16 hours flew by. Plenty of power for overtaking, comfortable seats, climate control, sunroof, great cup holders, 6-pack CD changer for hours of entertainment, lots of trunk space for all our purchases. good gas mileage, the list goes on and on. Long drives are a great way to get "intimate" with your Max, if you know what I mean

I went to Gaspesie it is about 1000Km from Montreal ( side to side with New Brunswick ) not exactly the weather of Myrtle Beach, but this area is quite nice and it is the atlantic ocean, the people were very kind, something that is getting rare in big city. The golf was great and really cheap a 18 holes was like 33$ canadian for week-end play most golf around the city are all between 55-100$. There was a lot to visit and the food was good too. My mother in law was born there and she was quite happy to go back.

cheers

trips

I have taken three trips to Myrtle Beach from NJ with my 2000 I30, and before that with my 95 Max. The only negative I noticed is the acceleration from a stop is faster with the 95, but both are great when extra power is needed to get out of a situation (like when you have to suddenly move fast to escape a truck on interstate 95) Those of you who have been on I95 on the east coast know what I mean!!
