Stick the NX kit on because nitrous helps cool down the charged air.

Definitely tell us what you're getting after the install. I think DMan gets a lot per gallon.

You guys should come to Los Angeles, you'd not get nearly as good mileage! Damn it, I hate refueling after driving only 220 miles.

Yes..... I'm nuts.

Are you looking to sell your 3.25" pulley and if so how much? I might just be interested. Did the FMU require a different disk and what size belt would I have to get? Also what kind of boost were you seeing with the pulley? (Isn't it suppose to be around 9-10 lbs of boost?) My stock 3.6" pulley is making 6-7 lbs of boost (just above 0.4 kg/cm2 to 0.5 kg/cm2) on my Greddy boost gauge. With all my tranny mods how do you think the 3.25" pulley would do on my car?

I gave the smaller pulley to Chebosto (he's on vacation in NorCal). Yes, the FMU can be purchased from http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com The belt size should be K060705 (Gates part number).

Yup, the 3.25" is suppose to give about 10 PSI. I used to get 6, but since the boost gauge is using another vacuum line I'm getting much higher readings.

With all the mods, I still don't think it's safe for our trannys. I wouldn't recommend it if you worry about blowing stuff up.

How do you feel about the 3.33" pulley for my setup? Do you think that would be relatively safe.?

Two questions. How much boost can we run on a 5-spd before clutch replacement is mandatory? You guys have me drooling over the idea of 350hp but this is going to turn into a $5000 deal or more if I need to replace the clutch. (I know 11psi will liquidate a stock cluth but what about 7-8psi?) Also, I was going to sell my car because I was ****ed-off about not having an lsd until I laid down TWIN 90 foot patches. How can that be if I don't have a limited slip?

3.33" is relatively safe. That would be a good conservative-sized pulley to run. I believe you might be able to put down about 270-280 with that pulley due to your high dyno number off the stock pulley (not including y pipe).

I believe 7-8 psi will work on your car with no problems (at least from the beginning). The stock clutch will probably wear out faster. 7-8 should be the 3.48" pulley.

As for LSD Q....sometimes you break both tires loose, but majority of the time its one. I've one a burnout with both tires peeling, then it stopped, and I put on a smoke show for all the civics in the lot on DPA. Best one was breaking the tires loose, and having smoke come in and i'm swatting the smoke, and turning the wheel, so it looked like a restrained pit bull swerving trying to break his chain loose, and with the HIDs piercing through the smoke, it was a picture perfect opp, but no camera

-Peace
No burnouts from me... don't want a blown up tranny. Hehehehe

You should've brought a camera.

You have the SC on the car already? Did you put the MAF before or after the BOV? Taken itout for a drive yet? I get hesitation at about 3K or 90 mph (won't happen if I give it more gas).

We both have broken ka's...

One of the error codes might be MAP sensor related. Adam (The New CLIMAX) and I have had this code come up.

My hesitation gives a camshaft position sensor code. The sensor was replaced with a new one, but the code still comes up.

It's fun driving like a mad man.

I have to agree with you that it's deceivingly fast. On the freeway, I can hit 3 psi with a light tap on the accelerator. I can't imagine how driving's going to be in wet weather.

The metal covers are fun to play on. Hehehehe

Sound like you're having a blast with the SC (so am I). WOT around the corners in wet weather?!?!?

Holy crap!! 3.125" pulley??? 3" pulley? Exactly how much torture can these vortechs take? I'd imagine you're pulling about 15-16000rpm out of the thing with a 3.125" pulley.. what are these superchargers rated for?
I'd imagine you'd be spitting supercharger oil in a few thousand K....

Hey Steve...I have a ? for you. Since the AFC has been proven not to work with our cars long term what do you have to say about your Fields Fuel Controller? Do you have to keep re-programing it ir does it work pretty well? It is either that or the PROgram for me. I know you are not a big endorser of that route. Let me know dude. If you want you can take it to e-mail.

The SC's can take quite a bit. Check out their website for more info. I start boosting a little before 2K rpm (not sure of the exact number because I haven't launched hard yet).

Yup, trannies going to die first unless it was rebuilt with Level 10 stuff. You want me to tape my tranny blowing up? I'll do that when I get a chance, but it's pretty hard doing it one handed... and Jane hates it when I shoot runs.
