The boost gauge was moved to another vacuum line yesterday. During the only test run, I saw the needle up around the 8.5-9 area before taking my eyes off the gauge. Hint: The New CLIMAX (maybe you can finally get above 2 )

I have a feeling I'll be looking for a new tranny once this gets put on. The car should be running around 11 psi or so. Wwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

Yes..... I'm nuts.

Are you going to swap to a 5spd transmission if you blow the current one? Please post a write-up if you do.

Anyone know how much the 6spd with LSD transmission from the 2002 Maxima costs?

Bought the FMU 8:1 recalibration kit... no new injectors yet, but these will probably be maxed out... hoping the 2k2 6 speed LSD will work.

6 spd LSD should be big bills right now since it is still new. Best thing to do is find one at a junkyard.

Steve,

I am running the 3.125 pulley right now. I have a vacuum leak somewhere I am sure... And with the aftercooler I am still not sure what kind of boost I am pushing... I will be doing more tweaking this weekend. And trying to figure why I keep stalling. Lucky me

Hey Steve...I have a ? for you. Since the AFC has been proven not to work with our cars long term what do you have to say about your Fields Fuel Controller? Do you have to keep re-programing it ir does it work pretty well? It is either that or the PROgram for me. I know you are not a big endorser of that route. Let me know dude. If you want you can take it to e-mail.

Yeah, the 6 speed compatibility has crossed my mind quite a few times. We'll see what happens when it blows..... maybe I can find a I30t or Canadian SE tranny.

Hey Big D! Glad to hear you finally got everything you needed to get that bad boy on your car. Are you reading the correct boost? Remember my problem? I hooked up the boost line to another one close to the TB. Good luck with the tweaks and definitely post some pics.

I30t/Canadian SE tranny plus Level 10 with ProTorque TC and MobileTek VB (one of the automagic route)

hmm.... the auto tranny route with Level10 work sounds pretty good if you decide to stay in the automagical world

Anyhow, Kev, are you still running with the 2.5" y-pipe and stock b-pipe? Are you going to move up to 3"? You may be approaching that threshold also

Now Kev can you take a pic for me of what line you are using now, I think that is my problem (vacuum line location). Also how is the ECU light thing? Did you guys get a fix for that? Please help

Yup, still running the 2.5"....... maybe I'll go with 3" later on, not right now though. Need beef up the fuel system first. Thanks for the reminder.

Yup, no problem Mr. 2 PSI.

No fix on the ECU thing yet (boost sensor).

UMD_MaxSE answer your FMU question (fuel management unit). It gives you more fuel during boost.
