If any has done the Home Depot Grill (not the air dam, the three sections around the Nissan ornament) I'm trying to make a template but can't get the shape right. How was it done?

um..

i think hey just took of the finishing ring, then put a card board box behind it and took a magic marker and traced it from the out side in???? i dunno i might b wrong but.. thats how i would do it.. and when u do, do some thing like that make sure u leave like 4 or 2 1inch tabs to each cut out so u can have some thing to hold it in place when u put it in.. **and i'm talk'n about the mesh not the cardborad^^** thats how i would make the upper hd grill.. hum.. haha.. i think i'm gonna try it now... hahaha..

How do you attach the mesh to the back of the main grille? with tie straps again? I still have like 6 sheets sitting in the kitchen..

Sorry about not getting back to you guys...Here's what I did...cut 3 random pieces of cardboard about 28"long x 3"wide....the lower valence is about 29"long x 4"wide...these measurements are not what will fit directly into your grill, but must be trimmed into the opening...ok, start with the top...work your way from the left to the right...you kind of have to mold the cardboard (use some pressure to bend the cardboard corners)...trim outside of the desired outlining and keep trimming closer and closer till ya get a nice fitment...try to keep the bottom of the cardboard straight and aligned to the grills contour....here's the trick....once you get to the middle of the Nissan symbol your halfway, if what you've been trimming is to your liking, fold the carboard in half and trim the right side to the same dimensions...now all you got to do is make it sit properly and do the rest of the grill the same way...I hope this helps...?

Nah, it was photoshopped by me. I read alot about supercars but you'll almost never see an EVO and a Skyline on the same track let alone the same race. So I took two separate pics of the cars drifting during test runs, cropped and flipped and rotated and scaled and put 'em on the background of my favorite racing anime, "Initial D". There was originally a AE86 Toyota Sprinter Trueno and a similar AE86 Corolla Levin in the background.

JkiMaxAC..yep, i used nylon ties to hold the mesh in place. the side markers i tinted myself using a product called Nite Shades. It works just like spray paint...
Ludicris...I like it...I like it alot! I recieved many compliments about it..
